Naming of the New Halls of Residence
The opportunity to suggest a name for the new halls of residence is now over.
Children’s Services gave the public the opportunity to help with the process of naming the new Halls of Residence. A consultation ran from 20 April 2016 until 8 June 2016. The Director of Children's Services took a report and suggestion to Education & Families Committee on 3 October 2016. The Education and Families Committee agreed that the name for the new Halls of Residence should be the Anderson High School Halls.
Pupils from Bells Brae and Sound Primaries have been lending a hand at the site of the new Anderson High School, planting trees which they’ll monitor as they grow as part of their environmental studies - 25/08/15.
