Shetland Climate Festival
On Saturday 15 June 2024, the Climate Change Programme will be hosting the Shetland Climate Festival once again, so be sure to drop by the Clickimin Bowls Hall between 10am and 4pm.
We have a packed programme of events throughout the day, including:
- our Exhibition Hall, where you can learn more about what is being done by local organisations, agencies and businesses in Shetland to tackle climate change
- our first ever Climate Craft Fair
- Workshops from NHS Shetland, Business Energy Scotland, Islands Centre for Net Zero, Historic Environment Scotland, Shetland Aerogenerators, and RSPB
- As well as activities for bairns, including BookBug, face painting, and a Scavenger Hunt around the hall
