Election of a Councillor for Ward 2 – Shetland North
A Shetland Islands Council vacancy has arisen in Ward 2 - Shetland North, following the resignation of Councillor Tom Morton.
The notice of election will be published on Friday 29 November with nominations accepted from Tuesday 3 December until Tuesday 17 December 2024.
If the seat is contested, voting will take place on Thursday 23 January 2025 with the count taking place the following day on Friday 24 January 2025.
This is a 3-member Ward and the other Ward members are Councillors Emma Macdonald (Independent) and Andrea Manson (Independent).
