A number of schools in Shetland will be affected by industrial action next week.
Members of four teaching unions or professional associations have voted to take industrial action: the Education Institute for Scotland (EIS), the NASUWT, the Scottish Secondary Teachers Association (SSTA) and the Association of Head Teachers and Deputes in Scotland (AHDS).
This action will mainly affect Primary Schools and Early Learning and Childcare settings on Tuesday 10th January; and Secondary Schools on Wednesday 11th January.
