Small Ports

Pre-Arrival Information Requirements

Estimated time of arrival

Vessels bound for any Shetland Islands Councils Small Ports are required to provide the Harbour Authority, via Scalloway Harbour, with information entered into a Notice of Vessel Movement (NVM) and where appropriate a Consolidated European Reporting System (CERS) Work Book. 

Vessels should provide an estimated time of arrival 24 hours before arrival or on leaving the last port (whichever is later). 

Small Coasters and Cruise Vessels should fill out the Notice of Vessel Movement and submit it to the Harbour Authority, via Scalloway Harbour

Council owned piers are visited by Scalloway Harbour staff as part of their monthly service checks and are noted here
