Parent Councils
The Parental Involvement Act made changes to the arrangements for parental representation in all schools across Scotland. In August 2007 Parent Councils became the representative body for parents. For more information please look up the ParentZone website.

The Parent Council Grant Application process for 2024/25 has now closed. Applications for 2025/26 will open in April 2025.
Parent Council Project Evaluation Form
The following should be submitted with your application form:
- Action Plan 2024/25 which describes how the Parent Council will support the school in promoting parental involvement;
- Bank statement as at 31st March;
- Audited/checked accounts for the year ended 31 March 2024;
- Project Evaluation Form 2023/24.
