Port Services
In addition to liquid bulk cargos, the port can handle quarried rock and general, dry, bulk, ro-ro and containerised cargo in relatively small vessels of up to 120 metres (with fitted with a bow thruster) working at shallow draft jetties.
The "Construction jetty" dimensions are as follows:

Heavy lift pad can support Outrigger loads up to 20 tonnes per m2.
The adjacent lay down area is secure hard standing and is 14,000m2.
Bunkering
The Master/ Manager of a vessel, intending to receive bunkers or discharge oily waste, whether alongside at an SIC Pier, Harbour or Jetty, or lying at anchor within SIC harbour areas, shall give notification in writing to and seek permission from the relevant Harbour Master, through Sullom Voe VTS not less than 24 hours in advance of the intention to bunker. In exceptional circumstances, less than 24 hours’ notice will be accepted at the Harbour Masters discretion.
Bunkering by Road tanker is not permitted at Sullom Voe Terminal
