Shetland Dialect Resources
Local charity Shetland ForWirds was formed in 2004 with the aim to “foster and promote the use of written and spoken Shetland dialect as a valued and essential element of Shetland’s distinctive heritage and culture.”
There is a wealth of resources for all ages on the Shetland ForWirds website, including activity sheets, project ideas and audio clips of dialect:

You can borrow the Ditty Box and the Gaer Box, primary resources created by Shetland ForWirds FREE from the Library, as well as a large number of other Shetland dialect materials.
