Organisational Values and Culture (2023)

We will develop a modern, efficient and flexible workforce with the right values, behaviours and skills through delivering the actions in our Workforce Strategy

The Workforce Plan was produced following collaboration with each Council department and approved by Policy & Resources Committee in September 2021.  An update report on delivery was considered in June 2023 and some of the highlights included:
•    Continuous Conversations Policy and revised Secondment Policy had been approved
•    Learning At Work Policy being developed
•    New pay model implementation following consolidation of Scottish Local Government Living Wage 
•    Focus of study for Disability Management HR professional 
•    New Induction programme developed for Social Care Workers 
•    New digital induction/on-boarding course for new employees 
•    Implementation of new digital recruitment administration processes
