The Council made ‘cost of living’ contributions to over 1000 households in Shetland who were in receipt of Council Tax Reduction on 27th September 2023.  The £150 cost of living contribution was made possible through the Islands Cost Crisis Emergency Funding, received by the Council from the Scottish Government, to support the higher cost of living in Shetland.
